BARTEC explosion-proof switches are special-purpose switches developed by the renowned German company BARTEC, which was founded in 1975 in Baden-Württemberg. By offering internationally certified, state-of-the-art components and systems, BARTEC has occupied a leading position among global suppliers of safety engineering for more than 30 years.

He was transformed and inspired by the idea of safety: the safety and health of people working in the workplace is ensured by safe equipment and machinery; the safety of the environment, water, air and land is ensured by the safe operation of industrial equipment. He founded this company philosophy. By providing internationally certified, state-of-the-art components and systems, BARTEC has held a leading position among global safety engineering suppliers for more than 30 years.

The main products of BARTEC products in Germany include: BARTEC explosion-proof switch, BARTEC limit type micro switch, BARTEC travel switch, BARTEC humidity analyzer, BARTEC explosion-proof motor, BARTEC signal unit and indicator, BARTEC explosion-proof junction box, BARTEC plug and socket, BARTEC controller, BARTEC monitoring for industrial applications, BARTEC vibration meters, BARTEC infrared thermometers, Bartec Benke oil analyzers, BARTEC humidity analyzers, BARTEC mining energy and drive systems.

BARTEC explosion-proof switches are well-known in Germany for preventing explosions from a customer safety perspective.BARTEC products and solutions prevent explosions where dangerous chemicals such as flammable liquids, gases and dust may occur and keep humans safe and protect the environment. Key customers include companies from the oil and gas industry, chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical companies, as well as the mining industry from around the world. The portfolio includes sophisticated measurement and analysis technology, innovative heating technology solutions for mine electrical engineering as well as explosion-proof components and systems for automation, monitoring, control and communication.

BARTEC limit type microswitches are used in the field of explosion-proof switching elements where space is limited. They are especially suitable for gearing in valves, thermostats, key switches, servo components, meters and switching applications. The smallest ex-worldd microswitches are encapsulated in a plastic enclosure. Wires or cable tails are potted at the base. The standard version of the BARTEC miniature switch contains fine silver contacts. Other contact materials such as gold-plated silver or pure gold are available for low currents and voltages.
