Unidrive M700 AC servo control and drive General purpose high performance motor controller 0.25 kW to 2.8 MW (0.33 HP to 4,200 HP) 100 V, 200 V, 400 V, 575 V, 690 V The Unidrive M700 provides high performance motor control and improved control flexibility to meet the requirements of machine manufacturers and high specification industrial applications. The Unidrive M700 provides an enhanced upgrade for existing Unidrive SP users. Characteristics: Through excellent motor control to achieve higher production capacity • High-bandwidth motor control algorithms for closed-loop induction, permanent magnet and servo motors -- 3000 Hz current loop bandwidth and 250 Hz speed loop bandwidth • Flexible speed and position feedback interfaces support feedback technologies ranging from powerful rotary transformers to high resolution encoders • Up to three encoder channels at the same time, e.g. 1 feedback encoder, 1 given encoder and 1 frequency division output •MCi modules eliminate the need for external PLCS and motion controllers • Frequency division encoder output can provide position given for CAM, digital lock and electronic gear applications The onboard advanced motor controller is used to optimize system performance • The M700 includes an advanced motion controller capable of controlling 1.5 axes. Motion functions are performed on the "drive" for better system performance Design flexible centralized and decentralized control systems • MCi modules can be added to execute larger programs for advanced system control functions • Onboard PLCS are used for logic programs •Machine Control Studio is the industry standard IEC61131-3 programming environment for efficient system design and configuration • Integrated dual-port Ethernet switches provide simple connectivity • Onboard Real-time Ethernet (IEEE 1588 V2) uses RTMoE (Ethernet Real-time Motion) to provide fast communication and accurate shaft synchronization • Three slots are available for fieldbus, position feedback and I/O option module system integration Maximizes uptime and reduces costs by integrating directly with safety systems to meet safety standards • The M700 has integrated safe torque off (STO) inputs and can accommodate SI safety modules for safe motion functions
